The Kit

Many of us have ordered the AVR/Ethernet kit from tuxgraphics.org . The hope is to work together assembling the boards, and getting them working.

Those who have ordered boards:

  • Bofh
  • Blue_Chimp
  • Fish
  • Shish
  • Wfk
  • Kitty
  • One Spare

People are expected to provide:

  • ENC28J60 (Kitty has limited spares)
  • Solder
  • Soldering irons
  • Safety specs
  • Wire Cutters
  • PSU or battery.

If people would like to not risk frying their AVR or ENC28J60 chip, then it would be advisable to order a chip carrier. These are 13p for a cheapy one, or 47p for a better one. Kitty will be ordering some before the meet. Let Kitty know if you would like them, you need two chip carriers per kit.

The example software for the Ethernet dev board can be found at tuxgraphics.org.
